La terza prova solista del cantautore neozelandeseè stata co-prodotta da Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala) e registrata tra lo studio di Auckland di Finn e lo studio Tarbox di Fridmann, in New York.
