In his youth, he would go to sleep at night listening to Jimi Hendrix, he has a strong fascination and love of guitars, James Brown taught him to 'get on up like a Sex Machine', Norman Whitfield taught him production techniques, the vocals of Grace Slick took him to fantasy land, Bob Seger taught him to turn the page, Sly Stone caught his ear with I Want To Take You Higher etc. and so forth..

With many influences churning within him, his creativity came to fruition in sweet home Chicago, there, he learned the creative power his mind contained-for his love of music which drove him to learn the business, he was blessed by acquiring the knowledge of how to record, promote and market.
He left the home of his creative birth, and undertook his life's greatest journey, women, whiskey-and recording studios brought him to life, for the studio was his laboratory, love became his refuge, his sanctuary,under the influence of his musical addiction- he experimented until he found his sound, which no one could categorize, people just knew that heretofore, they had never heard anything like this man of music's love creations.

His skills were acquired while travelling the spectrum of this business of music, he paid his dues in excess, managed a local hard rock band and converted them to rock heroes, he developed an expertise in working with female singers.. Real Music by Real Musicians..There is no other producer in this business of music as well skilled as Barry International.

He is a man of love, which his music conveys, he is THE man-of music, no one can match his creativity, musically speaking, prolifically-he is ascending to the top, while the guitars play, and the women sing...

'Forgettin' Aint Easy' is about the agony one goes through when the object of one's affection breaks away from the relationship.

It illustrates the agony one lover suffers, when loving is needed, wanted, and desired-the loneliness, the emptiness across the bed, once
was alive, so full of sweet passion and the constant need for physical satisfaction-which is no longer present.

"Gunslinger" is the tale of one who has a way with the ladies, he hits and runs-leaving so many who fall in LOVE with him and are angered
because he loved them and left them. He is being warned to get the HELL out of town, karma is such that one day-his new lady love will shoot him down by loving him and breaking HIS heart.
