Il nuovo singolo in radio da venerdì 1 febbraio


Da venerdì 1 febbraio sarà in radio il nuovo singolo di Hozier dal titolo "Movement".
Il video vede la partecipazione di Sergei Polunin, uno dei ballerini più noti al momento. Sergei ha partecipato al documentario di Steven Cantor del 2016, "Dancer", in una performance diretta da David LaChapelle in cui ha ballato "Take Me To Church", la hit mondiale di Hozier, in un video diventato virale a livello globale.

Della collaborazione tra i due, Hozier ha affermato:
"I was first confronted by Sergei’s talent when I saw a performance of his set to my music in collaboration with David LaChapelle. I believe one of the greatest things to become of your own work is for it to form part of another artist’s vision or execution. That performance itself gave rise to ideas for this song, so I was incredibly proud to work with Sergei on this video. He is a once-in-a-generation talent. He’s a man of incredible skill and artistry and shows a dedication to his art form that I find inspiring. I’m thrilled to share this with everyone."

Sergei ha invece detto:
“When I found out that Hozier wanted me to be in his new music video for the song ‘Movement’, I was over the moon with happiness. “He did it again”, I thought when I heard the song - he created a masterpiece. His music inspired and moved me before and, he did it again with this song "Movement’”.

Andrew Hozier-Byrne, in arte Hozier, è un pluripremiato musicista, cantante e cantautore irlandese. Il suo l'album di debutto, "Hozier", pubblicato nell’ottobre 2014, include anche la hit mondiale "Take Me To Church", che ha vinto la BBC Song Of The Year e successivamente 'Best Song' per Hozier agli Ivor Novello Awards 2015. Un altro singolo tratto dall'album, "Someone New", ha vinto un BMI London Award nel 2016, e il video ufficiale ha visto l'acclamata star di Game Of Thrones Natalie Dormer. Hozier ha pubblicato il brano di chiusura dell'album "Cherry Wine" come singolo di beneficenza per creare consapevolezza dei problemi di abuso domestico in tutto il mondo.
Il suo recente EP "Nina Cried Power", che ha già superato i 45 milioni di stream dalla sua uscita, è stato pubblicato a settembre 2018 sotto Polydor Records e presenta l'iconica cantante soul Mavis Staples, così come il leggendario organista Booker T.
