Il cantautore inglese TOM GRENNAN debutta in Italia con un singolo che promette di diventare una hit: “Sober” entrerà in rotazione radiofonica da venerdì 6 aprile ed è già disponibile in digitale.

Il brano è tratto dal nuovo album dell’artista, “Lighting Matches” (Insanity Records), che l’ha visto collaborare con Fraser T Smith, produttore vincitore di Grammy (Stormzy/Adele/Kano/Plan B) e Dan Grech (Liam Gallagher/Killers/Radiohead). “Lighting Matches”, che si preannuncia come uno dei dischi più interessanti dell’anno, include, tra le altre, “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” (oltre 18 milioni di stream), utilizzata come title music della Premier League di Sky Sport.

“Volevo scrivere del mio essere sempre ubriaco. A un certo punto della mia vita, odiavo ubriacarmi, ma lo facevo comunque perpoi sentirmi regolmente in colpa il giorno successivo. E il giorno dopo ci ricascavo ancora. Parlava di me e del non riuscire a rimanere sobrio. Poi ha preso una svolta completamente diversa. È come una canzone di Bond, ed è uno dei pochi brani dell’album a farmi sentire sulle montagne russe”, così racconta Tom Grennan.
