Bordeaux-based dj & producer Coopex joins French native Afterfab and Colombian artist Alé Kumá (part of Cumbiafrica) for “El Porro”, a new latin-house gem on Hysterical.

Teddy Yrius (Coopex) is a French music producer born in 1998. He started producing electronic dance music in early 2015 and has slowly but steadily found his element in the Dance Pop scene. After perfecting his craft, Teddy began to reach out and work with labels to reach a larger audience and introduce himself as an artist. Coopex is passionate to work with like-minded artists to create a fresh and forward-thinking vibe of electronic dance music. Fast forward five years and the young Frenchman has collected over 350M million streams across all streaming platforms.

French native Afterfab (aka Fabien Josephine) has become a rising star in the dance community. At the young age of 21, Afterfab has garnered international attention with his instinctively catchy sounds and style. Learning to produce in 2012, Afterfab pulls from a variety of inspirations including San Holo, Illenium, Louis the Child and more to cultivate an infectious beat that you can’t seem to shake.

Remixing fan favorites such as Sheck Wes’ “Mo Bamba” and Fort Minor’s “Remember the Name” to roaring applause, Afterfab has quickly solidified himself as a producer to watch with an innate ability to create emotionally energized songs that you’ll never want to turn off. Garnering the support from the likes of The Chainsmokers, Illenium, Ookay, R3hab and more, not to mention receiving rave reviews from the likes of Billboard, YourEDM, Run the Trap, ThisSongSlaps and countless other publications while receiving frequent radio attention on BBC Radio, Diplo & Friends, Trap Nation, Gud Vibrations and more.

Leonardo Gómez Jattin, AKA Alé Kumá, has dedicated his life, work and art to Afro-Colombian music. Alé Kumá is the medium with who he merges different Colombian traditions, from the Caribbean to the Pacif ic Coast, or from the interior, into new compositions for music, theatre or multidisciplinary performances, Alé Kumá focuses on the oral tradition, working with singers from all regions – the pacific coast, the amazone, the countryside and the eastern departments. Alé Kumá wishes to keep the afro-colombian spirit alive and perform it to a variety of audiences. Besides his keyrole as director of many traditional Colombian projects such as Cumbiafrica, Maria Mulata, Guafa Trio and Cuarteto Canaguaro, Leonardo is also a researcher, composer and poet. He has gained awards such as the composition of the Best Folkloric Song of Colombia at the Viña Del Mar festival in 2007 and the Fanny Mikey Prize for the production of the folkloric opera Maria Barilla in 2010.
