‘Waterslide, Diving Board, Ladder to the Sky’ uscirà il 20 Maggio per Secretly Canadian, terzo album della band di Brighton, UK.

Il precedente album ‘Every Bad’ nel 2020 è entrato nella shortlist del prestigioso Mercury Prize, oltre ad essere stato presente nelle liste dei migliori album di fine anno di Pitchfork, NME e Stereogum.

Dana Margolin, leader e cantante-chitarrista dei Porridge Radio, è una figura chiave della nuova scena indipendente inglese, tra le più talentuose musiciste della sua generazione.

Il video di ‘Back to the Radio’ è stato girato dalla Ella Margolin, sorella di Dana, con tutta la band, compresi il batterista Sam Yardley, il tastierista Georgie Stott, e la bassista Maddie Ryall.

Dana Margolin è cresciuta cantando alle open mic night della sua Brighton, facendosi le ossa da solista e poi formando la sua band. I Porridge Radio hanno registrato numerosi demo dalla loro formazione ad oggi, ma il vero e proprio esordio è arrivato nel 2016 con ‘Rice, Pasta and Other Fillers’ per Memorials of Distinction, a cui è seguito a Marzo 2020 ‘Every Bad' per Secretly Canadian.
