(27th May, 2022): Warner Chappell Music signed artist Rawdolff is originally from Normandy in France and has been a DJ & Producer, passionate about the musical world since his earliest years. He draws his inspiration from multiple genres especially House, HipHop and American Rap, creating rhythmic sets and mixing contemporary sounds with classics of the genre.


Since 2012, Rawdolff has played in the biggest and hippest International clubs & Festivals such as Arc Club (Paris), VIP Room (Dubai), Fratelli (Romania), The Temple (Egypt), Theatro (Marrakech), Soho Garden (Dubai), Spring Break (Cancun), 1oak (Dubai).

His rising popularity brought him opportunities to share the stage with international artists such as Lil Pump, Lil Wayne, ASAP Rocky, Rick Ross, Cassie, The Game, Trey Songz, Redfoo as well as DJs such as Carnage, and Ofenbach.
Along the way, he has remixed and collaborated with numerous French and International artists including his 2021 Rawdolff remix of Romanian superstar Alexandra Stan and NERVO ‘Come into my World’ in late 2021 at #5 in the UK Commercial Pop charts; up and coming Romanian artist Alessiah’s ‘See you Follow’ which hit #10 on the UK Commercial Pop charts.
In June 2019, international publisher Warner Chappell Music France signed Rawdolff as a DJ & Producer. This signing was an important milestone in his career and since then, he has been working in studio creating new music, the first of which was - in April 2021 - his unique twist on Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t get you out of my Head’ aka ‘Outta my Head’ featuring UK Pop star Tara McDonald which has already amassed over three million streams and appeared on numerous top playlists including Spotify’s Euphoria EDM, Electro Heat and Cancun de Noche as well as charting at #3 in the UK Commercial Pop charts; #5 in the UK Upfront charts; #5 Hungary; #15 India; #40 Tik Tok charts France; #70 Mexico; #77 Spain.
The next two lower profile releases were largely aimed at clubbers and dancefloors. First off ‘Downtown’released in early 2022 is a monster of a throbbing party tune where 70’s funk/R&B with a Soul Train vibe gets down in a sweaty club underneath Vauxhall Arches! Tara McDonald was on board again but this time her pitched up/down vocals are unrecognizable on this unique but incredibly catchy old skool classic. The song has been heavily featured on dance floors since its release in January 2022, streamed over 500k on Spotify alone and peaked in late April at #4 in the UK Music Week Upfront charts and #5 in the UK Commercial Pop charts.
Next up hardly pausing for breath Rawdolff quietly put out the Sidney Samson produced ‘Medina’ a track infused with oriental vibes and inspired by his years DJing in clubs across the Middle East and North Africa. Not since Said Mrad’s ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ and REG Project’s ‘Harem’ has an oriental dance track had such an immediate impact on Arabian dancefloors.
Now Rawdolff has produced something very special, sure to be a huge radio and dancefloor staple, and to more than match the success of ‘Outta my Head’: ‘Lose You’ is built upon the hypnotic instantly recognizable piano melody of the late Robert Miles’s Dream house classic instrumental ‘Children’ - the most successful single in Europe in 1996 selling over 5m copies worldwide and reaching Number 1 in more than a dozen countries. The Italian record producer, composer, musician and DJ - a long time Ibiza resident up to his untimely death in 2017 - had been written at a time when Italian DJs were playing slower calming music at the end of a night’s set in response to a massive trend of deaths due to car accidents as clubbers fell asleep as they drove home overnight.
Very much taking equal billing on this track -having come up with the idea to incorporate the ‘Children’ piano hook into an earlier version of ‘Lose you’ - Tara McDonald once again naturally takes on the vocal duties with stunning results.
Says Rawdolff: My original version of ‘Lose You’ was downtempo and very chilled, emotional with the vocal hook “ta da da la la” running through it. We decided to try and adapt this version to a more house/club direction by adding a piano hook but wanted to keep the emotion of the original track. Tara McDonald, with whom we regularly collaborate, took over the topline of this new version, and gave us the idea of using the piano melody from Robert Miles’s ‘Children’, inspired by our piano hook and it was just magical! The chemistry felt right.
Robert Miles piano line is already so emotional and brings back nostalgic memories as this anthem rocked our childhoods in the 90s and fitted perfectly with the storytelling of our song ‘Lose You’ which is about love, loss and regret.”
Says Tara: When Rawdolff first played me ‘Lose You’, it was a much earlier version but I massively believed in the track. When he changed the production and included a new piano hook, I instinctively started humming Robert Miles’s ‘Children’ underneath it - it felt natural, worked perfectly alongside the chords but most importantly gave the right atmosphere alongside the new lyrics.
I’ve really loved working on this new song! I personally feel that there is something really special about the song, it moves me.
I guess in a way ‘Lose You’ is a tribute to Robert Miles’s genius - we were in touch about working together before he sadly passed away. His song ‘Children’ has been part of the soundtrack to all our lives and is now reincarnated in Rawdolff’s ‘Lose You’.
