Youth Illusion are an alternative rock band from London, UK.

Harnessing emotive drive, contagious choruses and boundless energy, YOUTH ILLUSION pull influence from a variety of areas, and in doing so, the band’s reach has vast potential.
Although the four-piece hail from London, the group is comprised of members originating from the States, UK, South Africa, and Italy. This melting pot of differing cultural backgrounds only
adds to the band’s unique flavouring. YOUTH ILLUSION were only formed in May 2018, but the quartet have already begun to
make their mark on the UK independent rock scene. Following the successful release of their
debut EP "Terms of Submission" in early 2020,the band signed with Perspective Management
and hit the scene by storm.
To date, the band have supported I Set My Friends On Fire at the Pile Up Winter Warm Up
Festival, delivered a stunning set at Camden Rocks Festival, and have blown away the VIP
audience and the 2022 version of Lakefest.
The band went through a number of drummers and toyed with the idea of a second guitarist
for a few months before finally settling into the current line up in 2021.
In between these changes, the band recorded their sophomore effort, a powerful 6 track EP
called "Seeking Answers In Silence". Released in early 2022 to rave reviews, both singles from
the record went on to achieve 50k views on Youtube and solidified the boys as a force to be
reckoned with. The success of the record lead to an extremely successful 10 date cross
country tour of the UK playing with bands like Standing Like Statues and Big Drink, to eager
audiences ready to catch the boys in the flesh. The tour was considered a critical and financial
success and opened many doors including a slot on the Gold Stage at the 2022 edition of
Lakefest - following the Lakefest performance, the band are booked to open the main stage in
2023.
With an arsenal of heavy riffs and catchy tunes, the sky is the limit for Youth Illusion, they have
been featured in numerous publications and have been aired on radio stations across the
country, including a new band special on BBC Warwickshire.
The future looks bright for these rockers with 2023 shaping up to be the biggest year yet.
There are already a number of festival performances booked and early tours already in
discussion, not to mention a new management deal with Reaction Management.
